As the hotel marks its second Christmas since reopening last year, Lanson Place Causeway Bay presents a timeless blend of familiar comforts and joyful anticipation, creating a memorable experience for all. This charming destination offers guests the opportunity to revel in festive splendour, whether through thoughtfully crafted cuisine, a relaxing holiday retreat or cherished moments shared with loved ones.

The Holiday Set

Festivities abound throughout December, including The Holiday Set lunchmenu, meticulously crafted to showcase the essential flavours of winter, perfect for daytime occasions, whether for business meetings or personal celebrations.

The Sous Vide Turkey Breast from the main course selection is a hearty choice, featuring generous slices of succulent and richly textured turkey breast paired with traditional stuffing, evoking the nostalgia of classic festive gatherings.

Inspired by coastal flavours, the Pan-Fried French Pollock showcases the delicate flavour and firm texture of Atlantic pollock fillet, served with creamy, rich risotto, and beautifully balanced by a light and appetising lemon olive oil sauce.

The Beetroot Gnocchi offers a comforting alternative, featuring aromatic pan-fried gnocchi infused with the earthy sweetness of beetroot and finished with roasted butternut squash purée and toasted hazelnuts for a well-balanced depth of flavour and harmonious texture.

Jazzy Christmas Dinner

Available exclusively on 24 and 25 December 2025, the Jazzy Christmas Dinner offers an enchanting evening filled with soulful jazz melodies and the soft glow of candlelight, setting the scene for cosy celebrations.

The experience begins with a lavish starter of Balik Salmon paired with caviar, setting a luxurious tone for the festivities. While the Sous Vide Turkey Breast remains a beloved traditional favourite for Christmas, a standout among the main course options is the Pan-Roasted Line-Caught French Sea Bass, perfectly in season and paired with delicate Jerusalem artichoke to complement its refined oceanic flavour.

Equally enticing is the Grilled Japanese Wagyu Ribeye Steak, featuring premium A4 wagyu that offers a delectable balance of textures. This succulent steak is slow-cooked and then pan-fried using the ‘Foamy Butter’ technique, infusing it with the rich aromas of butter and fresh herbs.

Each diner will be served a glass of festive cocktail, adding a celebratory touch to the evening. Guests are also invited to choose from a range of handcrafted wreaths of various styles.

Holiday Brunch

Salon Lanson’s popular brunch returns in a semi-buffet style, featuring a tantalising array of cold cuts, including roasted beef carpaccio, duck rillette, guinea fowl pâté en croûte and more. 

A main course will be prepared à la minute to elevate the experience, with festive highlights from the dinner menu such as the Grilled Japanese Wagyu Ribeye Steak and Pan-Roasted Line-Caught French Sea Bass. Additional options include the wholesome Porcini and Ricotta Ravioli, enriched by the earthy notes of braised morels and airy pesto cream sauce. The Free-Range Chicken Two Styles allows guests to relish both truffle-crusted breast and confit leg.

A live cooking station serves Honey-Glazed Lacón, expertly roasted to perfection, while an exquisite selection of desserts from the buffet provides a sweet ending to the meal.

New Year’s Eve Dinner

As 2025 draws to a close, a lavish meal that brings together the finest flavours from around the world is the perfect way to celebrate. Set against an elegant French-inspired backdrop, the evening creates a charming atmosphere ideal for romantic dinners and joyful reunions with loved ones.

The five-course menu demonstrates the artistry of Executive Chef Chris Leung, beginning with sashimi-grade Otoro Tartare, enhanced with seasoned sushi soy sauce and Japanese pear, and finished with a sprinkle of yuzu-infused lemon sea salt—best enjoyed with a glass of champagne from the champagne tower. 

The Classic Bouillabaisse features a tasty medley of ocean flavours, presenting Chilean sea bass, Argentinian red prawns and blue mussels from Holland. For the first course, guests will enjoy sashimi-grade Pan-Seared Hokkaido Scallops, complemented by bacon-accented garden pea purée and an airy, decadent champagne foam. 

For the main course, guests can choose between Home-Smoked French Pigeon Breast and Grilled Whole Boston Lobster, both sure to captivate the palate. The experience concludes with a classic Champagne-Poached William Pear, reimagined with a clever twist of mascarpone and honey Greek yoghurt to create a subtle balance of sweetness.

Festive Beverages

Guests are invited to indulge in a captivating collection of four Campari-infused cocktails and a refreshing mocktail, each embodying the spirit of the season in a striking shade of red. Campari features distinct flavours of orange and herbs, which inspired the hotel’s Head Mixologist, Manuel Saavedra, to create these unique drinks incorporating eclectic spices that pair nicely with the Campari experience. While many associate Campari with the Negroni, this selection showcases its versatility, allowing guests to explore a variety of flavours that celebrate the essence of this remarkable spirit.

Roast Turkey Takeaway

Salon Lanson’s expertly crafted roast turkeys are available for takeaway orders for home or office gatherings. The 14-pound turkey is slow-roasted to golden perfection and served with delicious stuffing, complemented by seasonal vegetables, rich traditional gravy and zesty cranberry sauce. As the perfect centrepiece for a cosy, festive celebration, the roast turkey takeaways are an excellent choice for gatherings of up to ten people.
