With nearly three decades of global hospitality leadership, he brings vast expertise and a vibrant vision for enhancing the guest experience at Lanson Place Mall of Asia.
Mr. Rothbarth’s appointment aligns with the brand’s signature ethos of exceptional service and hospitality. As General Manager, he will be tasked with steering the property’s strategic direction and operational policies, ensuring that Lanson Place Mall of Asia continues to meet the evolving needs and expectations of its guests. His commitment to implementing Lanson Place’s hallmark of personalised service will also shape every aspect of daily operations, making each guest’s stay a memorable experience.
Prior to joining Lanson Place, Mr. Rothbarth’s extensive hospitality experience included Cluster General Manager for Fairmont Hotels and Safari Clubs Kenya, including renowned properties Fairmont The Norfolk in the Kenyan capital Nairobi and Fairmont Mara Safari Club.
Born in Offenbach, Germany, his career has spanned continents, with a particular focus on Africa, including positions in Ethiopia, Zambia and South Africa. In 2023, while managing Fairmont The Norfolk, he was honoured with a World Travel Award for ‘Africa’s Leading City Hotel’. The accolade underscored his dedication to the highest quality experiences and guest satisfaction.
His experience also extended to The Philippines, where he was General Manager responsible for the pre-opening and launch of the Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA in Manila.
